ABOUT IPPA GLOBAL

The International Poker Players Association Global (IPPA) exists to promote custom, mixed-game poker tournaments and to support and broaden the base of top level mixed game players. IPPA’s unique structure will provide an opportunity for top - level players to capitalize on their skills, as well as an avenue for the semi-professional player to contend for the Championship through a multi-stage format.

A series of international qualifiers will lead up to the largest single buy-in Championship Event ever held. Players will find their abilities tested as never before. They will have to play all the games well in a full ring-game, short-handed and heads-up. We seek the complete player who will be an unquestioned champion of the game. We believe in supporting the skilled professionals of the game of poker and in expanding the base of mixed game players through the conversion of already existing NLHE players. This will result in a more accurate reflection of genuine excellence in the profession of poker and support the health of the game. The IPPA Tour is about compelling poker events against the backdrop of exotic locations around the world.

The Championship Event will be filmed for production to be packaged for national television and as exclusive, web based content, The appeal to audiences who want to watch name players compete for such a large prize pool will provide a vehicle for poker and it’s top names to gain continued exposure to large audiences.
